Political Corruption Hits the American Taxpayer

Political corruption reaches deep into our pocketbooks to buy votes. We learned today from the Washington Post that Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.), who contributed one of the 60 votes needed to keep the "health reform" legislation alive was given $300 million in extra federal money for her home state. She brazenly exclaimed, "I am not going to be defensive. And it's not a $100 million fix. It's a $300 million fix."
