Barack Obama's Positions

The smooth talking self-professed Christian, Barack Hussein Obama (that is his real name) actually believes that immorality and social moral decadence are Christian tenets of belief . . . ?! [read here].

In his website he states "I support the complete repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA)." He adds that "As your President, I will use the bully pulpit to urge states to treat same-sex couples with full equality in their family and adoption laws . . . I also believe that the federal government should not stand in the way of states that want to decide on their own how best to pursue equality for gay and lesbian couples — whether that means a domestic partnership, a civil union, or a civil marriage." Emphasis added.

In a July 17th, 2007 speech before the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Barack said "there will always be people, many of goodwill, who do not share my view on the issue of choice. On this fundamental issue, I will not yield and Planned Parenthood will not yield."

What is at the heart of this self-professed Christian? How can he claim Christian compassion on the downtrodden while troddening down on the most vulnerable and innocent? His Christian theology is skewed and it is because he will not accept the founding Christian tenets of belief.

Obama is a Protestant. This is simply one of the many errors espoused by Protestantism. The movement is a Protest against the Catholic Church beginning not with Christ or the Apostles, but rather, with Martin Luther and John Calvin more than 1500 years after Christ entrusted His teachings and His Church to the Apostles. Christ founded one Church (Matthew 16:18) and promised to be with Her "until the end of time" (2 Cor 1:20; 3:16-4:6). Christ also guaranteed the original Church's authenticity (the Catholic Church) by promising the Paraclete (Holy Spirit) to teach the Church "in all things"(Jn 14:17, 26; 16:13; 2 Tim. 1:13-14).
Our Lord giving the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven to the Apostle St. Peter. Depiction of Matthew Chapter 16: "And I say to thee, thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever thou shalt loose on earth will be loosed also in Heaven."

Barack's participation in the Protest Movement joins the idea claiming Christ is a liar and a promise breaker. The claim is that after Christ promised to be with the Church "until the end of time", somewhere between then and the invention of Protestantism, Christ changed His mind and broke His promise by leaving the very Church that He Himself established and promised to never abandon. This absurd claim is just as hurtful to God as the Israelites murmuring against God in the desert before Moses struck the rock for water. It can further be compared to the same people, after crossing the Red Sea and seeing God's promise to them made good time and time again, creating a new religion in the golden calf. The'Protest', over the centuries, has diluted Christ's teachings so much that there is nearly no shred of its original Calvin/Luther teachings including Martin Luther's belief in the Perpetual Virginity of Mary. The movement, in essence, is a protest marching in time against and diluting everything Christ taught and still continues to teach through the Church, including all of Christianity's original moral teachings against euthanasia, abortion, divorce, homosexual marriage, and about salvation. This protest appears in various forms - now over 33,000 different forms including Barack's cult.

Based on Barack's claims that he can support homosexuality and abortion, he obviously believes that he is already 'saved', and can subsequently justify claiming abortion is fine as long as you've declared Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. This error does not square with Christ's treatment of the adulteress. Jesus did not tell Mary Magdalene "you are not a bad person, go and try to ignore people who tell you adultery is wrong." On the contrary, Christ told the adulteress: "go and SIN NO MORE." The notion that we're saved by faith alone does not square either with the teachings of the Early Church Fathers.

We shouldn't be shocked by what Obama suggests as Christian belief. He comes from a long line of 'revisionist' Protestants who deny the authority of the Pope as Christ's Vicar. Obama, Protestant Revisionists, and Modernist Catholics will continue to fulfill 19th c. author Hilaire Belloc's predictions:

"the decay of a religion involves the decay of the culture corresponding to it--we see that most clearly in the breakdown of Christendom today. The bad work begun at the Reformation is bearing its final fruit in the dissolution of our ancestral doctrines--the very structure of our society is dissolving."

On Modernism Belloc observes and further predicts:

". . . a Church of the future within which there will be intensity of devotion, indeed, but that devotion practiced by one small body, isolated and forgotten in the midst of its fellowmen" [and left on one side in the general current of the new Paganism].

"Those nations which had retained the Catholic culture are now in the third generation of anti-Catholic social education. Their institutions may tolerate the Church, but are never in active alliance with it and often in acute hostility."

Divine Mercy Novena Begins on Good Friday

Bishop Fulton Sheen once remarked about a soul that had nothing to do with people and the person finally conceded that, "my neighbor is hell." Bishop Sheen then advised us to "know our fellow man and take interest in them, that you may know the love of God again."

Each day of this prayer brings a new soul to the Ocean of God's Mercy - with the intention for their salvation. If you think you've been out of touch with people, this novena succeeds in bringing us back 'to know our brethren'.

Pope John Paul II & Pope Paul VI - The Indissolubility of Marriage

Wisdom from our Departed Holy Fathers

From Pope John Paul II's book Love and Responsibility and his 2002 Address to the Roman Rota to Pope Paul VI's encyclical Gaudium et Spes, the two Holy Fathers speak to us from the heart of our Lord.

"I want to examine indissolubility as a good for spouses, for children, for the Church and for the whole of humanity . . . The good of indissolubility is the good of marriage itself". - Pope John Paul II

POPE JOHN PAUL II'S DISCOURSE TO THE ROMAN ROTA ON DIVORCE

January 28, 2002

The Holy Father's main points:

"A positive presentation of the indissoluble union is important, in order to rediscover its goodness and beauty. First of all, one must overcome the view of indissolubility as a restriction of the freedom of the contracting parties, and so as a burden that at times can become unbearable." "Indissolubility is not an ideal but a natural law requisite of universal applicability"

"Yet the possibility always exists of rebelling against that loving plan: then returns the "hardness of heart" that had led Moses to permit divorce but which Christ definitively overcame. To such situations as these, one has to respond with the humble courage of faith, a faith that supports and corroborates reason itself, to enable it to carry on a dialogue with all who are in search of the true good of the human person and of society. To treat indissolubility not as a natural juridical norm but as a mere ideal empties of meaning the unequivocal declaration of Jesus Christ, who absolutely refused divorce because "from the beginning it was not so"! (Mt 19,8)."

"Marriage "is" indissoluble: this property expresses a dimension of its objective being, it is not a mere subjective fact. Consequently, the good of indissolubility is the good of marriage itself; and the lack of understanding of its indissoluble character constitutes the lack of understanding of the essence of marriage."

"Society has to understand that divorce undermines the lives of the children and society itself"

"Its absence, therefore, has devastating consequences that spread through the social body like a plague -- to use the term of the Second Vatican Council to describe divorce (cf. Gaudium et spes, n. 47) -- and that have a negative influence on the new generations who view as tarnished the beauty of true marriage."

"Educate the young to realize that Indissolubility is the cornerstone of society, not just a private choice"

Pope Paul VI's Encyclical Gaudium et Spes:

"By virtue of this sacrament, as spouses fulfill their conjugal and family obligation, they are penetrated with the spirit of Christ, which suffuses their whole lives with faith, hope and charity. Thus they increasingly advance the perfection of their own personalities, as well as their mutual sanctification, and hence contribute jointly to the glory of God."

"As a result, with their parents leading the way by example and family Prayer, children and indeed everyone gathered around the family hearth will find a readier path to human maturity, salvation and holiness. Graced with the dignity and office of fatherhood and motherhood, parents will energetically acquit themselves of a duty which devolves primarily on them, namely education and especially religious education."

"As a mutual gift of two persons, this intimate union and the good of the children impose total fidelity on the spouses and argue for an unbreakable oneness between them."
