May 21 End of the World? "Oh wait no, I meant October 21"

So the deception continues from flashy California's Protestant Ministries. So May 21st came and went without so much as a hiccup. So now Protestant Minister Camping has decided that the end of the world really wasn't May 21st, but October 21st. Never mind that his same prediction back in 1994 failed miserably, now he wants to take a third wild swing and strike himself out. So when October 21st comes and goes and Camping has 3 strikes to his count - can we then finally dispense with the Protestant B.S. artistry of privately interpreting the bible, please?

The Church wrote and approved the bible. As author of the Bible, Holy Mother Church alone has rights to interpret the sacred texts, not some self-aggrandized bible thumpin' prima donna from California (of all places). The Church in Rome, the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church alone interprets the Bible. Private interpretation of the Bible has gotten the world in more trouble than anything in its history.

From the radical fragmentation of Christianity - thanks to one sole private interpreting Augustinian monk named Martin Luther to the suicide pact cults who interpret the end in a remote compound, to Camping's failed predictions. And for what? Attention? God only knows. But once again, here is one more reason to trust in the One Church that Christ founded upon the Apostles: the Holy Roman Catholic Church - the world's sole authority of the Bible. We need to all remember that the Church is mother of the Bible not the other way around.

Signs of the Times

The great earthquake and tsunami which struck the east coast of Honshu Japan was nearly 60 miles from the town of Akita, Japan where the Vatican approved Marian apparition took place. During this apparition the Blessed Virgin Mary delivered the following message:

"As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. Then we learned that major solar flares have been erupting this month with such intensity that they are prompting close monitoring by NASA. The following X-class solar flare is just one of many massive solar flares in its class that erupted in recent weeks. This one erupted on March 19, 2011:

We can perceive the devastating earthquake and tsunami near the Marian apparition of Akita, Japan as yet another signal from God for the entire human race to turn to God. A FOX News report cited:

"Earlier this month, the sun unleashed its second X-class solar flare of the year that was aimed at Earth. X-class solar flares are the strongest types of solar flares."

Global Warming Alarmists Nixed . . . Again

Whenever the major media announces, in clear lockstep with liberal fear tactics, that global disaster is upon us, we should question such anxious claims with skepticism. This year was no different. The global alarmists including scientists modeling hurricanes in the US, announced serious hurricanes a-coming - and according to many liberal fear mongering globalists, "it's all our fault, if only there were less humans, if only there were less SUV's, if only families would be kept at one child per household, if only there were more, more, more regulation, we wouldn't have to fear the wrath of mother earth" - so says the anxious fear mongering liberal.

Today we learned yet another such prediction was foiled . . . by mother nature herself. Reuters today reported the following:

If people would just calm down, subdue their restlessness, get a grip of themselves, and man-up in this age, we would see a lot less anxiety, bitterness, and turmoil than if modern man was practicing religion, was faithful to God, trusted in His goodness, got to know Him Who made us, loved Him with all our hearts, lived by His teachings, and hoped to happy with Him forever in Heaven, we would see less tyranny in the world, our freedoms wouldn't be threatened, China would nix its one child policy, and globalists would scale back their dire predictions of widespread death and destruction caused by so called 'global warming'. Although such predictions do come from a social conscience, from those that haven't killed it yet, that knows some restitution must be coming to mankind from the heavens for all the ingratitude, fist shaking, insults, and sin committed against our good God.

Another Stem Cell Alternative Found

With all the trumped up hype and hasty rush to use embryonic stem cells for research, a new study now reveals major progress without employing the unethical attempt to derive stem cells from embryos. The temper tantrum from the left to hastily rush into funding embryonic stem cell research on the part of liberal politicians, secularists, and a sinister media, always sympathetic to promoting unethical medical practices, was all for naught.

Good things come to those who wait. A FoxNews article reported today that

"researchers in Boston announced Thursday that they have made significant progress in creating stem cells from human skin -- without using human embryos.

. . . The new approach is more efficient than earlier efforts and avoids tampering with DNA, said Derrick Rossi of Children's Hospital Boston"

United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (June, 2008):

"Nature in fact provides ample resources for pursuing medical progress without raising these grave moral concerns. Stem cells from adult tissues and umbilical cord blood are now known to be much more versatile than once thought.

. . . Researchers have even developed new non-destructive methods for producing cells with the properties of embryonic stem cells—for example, by “reprogramming” adult cells. There is no moral objection to research and therapy of this kind, when it involves no harm to human beings at any stage of development and is conducted with appropriate informed consent. Catholic foundations and medical centers have been, and will continue to be, among the leading supporters of ethically responsible advances in the medical use of adult stem cells."

If only the proud left would listen to the Church, they would find themselves in a much more agreeable position in the world today. Here is the Church's position from the USCCB statement On Embryonic Stem Cell Research:

"Almost everyone agrees with the principle that individuals and governments should not attack the lives of innocent human beings. However, several arguments have been used to justify destroying human embryos to obtain stem cells. It has been argued that (1) any harm done in this case is outweighed by the potential benefits; (2) what is destroyed is not a human life, or at least not a human being with fundamental human rights; and (3) dissecting human embryos for their cells should not be seen as involving a loss of embryonic life. We would like to comment briefly on each of these arguments.

First, the false assumption that a good end can justify direct killing has been the source of much evil in our world. This utilitarian ethic has especially disastrous consequences when used to justify lethal experiments on fellow human beings in the name of progress. No commitment to a hoped-for “greater good” can erase or diminish the wrong of directly taking innocent human lives here and now . . . The same ethic that justifies taking some lives to help the patient with Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s disease today can be used to sacrifice that very patient tomorrow, if his or her survival is viewed as disadvantaging other human beings considered more deserving or productive. The suffering of patients and families affected by devastating illness deserves our compassion and our committed response, but not at the cost of our respect for life itself.

Second, some claim that the embryo in his or her first week of development is too small, immature, or undeveloped to be considered a “human life.” Yet the human embryo, from conception onward, is as much a living member of the human species as any of us. As a matter of biological fact, this new living organism has the full complement of human genes and is actively expressing those genes to live and develop in a way that is unique to human beings, setting the essential foundation for further development . . . Just as each of us was once an adolescent, a child, a newborn infant, and a child in the womb, each of us was once an embryo.

Others, while acknowledging the scientific fact that the embryo is a living member of the human species, claim that life at this earliest stage is too weak or undeveloped, too lacking in mental or physical abilities, to have full human worth or human rights. But to claim that our rights depend on such factors is to deny that human beings have human dignity, that we have inherent value simply by being members of the human family. If fundamental rights such as the right to life are based on abilities or qualities that can appear or disappear, grow or diminish, and be greater or lesser in different human beings, then there are no inherent human rights, no true human equality, only privileges for the strong. As believers who recognize each human life as the gift of an infinitely loving God, we insist that every human being, however small or seemingly insignificant, matters to God—hence everyone, no matter how weak or small, is of concern to us.

Finally, some claim that scientists who kill embryos for their stem cells are not actually depriving anyone of life, because they are using “spare” or unwanted embryos who will die anyway. This argument is simply invalid. Ultimately each of us will die, but that gives no one a right to kill us. Our society does not permit lethal experiments on terminally ill patients or condemned prisoners on the pretext that they will soon die anyway. Likewise, the fact that an embryonic human being is at risk of being abandoned by his or her parents gives no individual or government a right to directly kill that human being first.

. . . It now seems undeniable that once we cross the fundamental moral line that prevents us from treating any fellow human being as a mere object of research, there is no stopping point. The only moral stance that affirms the human dignity of all of us is to reject the first step down this path. We therefore urge Catholics and all people of good will to join us in reaffirming, precisely in this context of embryonic stem cell research, that “the killing of innocent human creatures, even if carried out to help others, constitutes an absolutely unacceptable act” (Pope John Paul II, The Gospel of Life [Evangelium Vitae], no. 63)."

Extreme Weather - Not All Pointing to Warming

Flooding in China, widespread wildfires in Russia, record below normal temps in California, earthquakes in Iran and Turkey, increased global volcanic activity - these aren't signs of a humanistic pattern of 'industrialist man' finally collapsing nature. After all, today we have the cleanest manufacturing, milling, processing, and energy producing plants than man has ever seen before. Is it past management that has finally 'caught up to nature' that we are now seeing the end results of? No, what we see today are signs of another human catastrophe.

Let's go back to ancient times. There was a happy little set of towns southeast of what is now known as the Dead Sea. Archeologists found that the ruins here were incinerated by a massive fire. Geologist speculate that a fault line positioned directly below the two towns had something to do with the event. They add that a petroleum based bitumen deposit ignited as it tore through the fault line during an eruption resulting in the raining down of fire.

The event is historically recorded in Genesis Chapters 18-19. The towns names were Sodom and Gomorrah. Several books in the New Testament corroborate this event:

"And the LORD said, "The outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great, and their sin is exceedingly grave. "I will go down now, and see if they have done entirely according to its outcry, which has come to Me; and if not, I will know." Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, while Abraham was still standing before the LORD. Abraham came near and said, "Will You indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked?" - Genesis 18:20-23

Then the LORD rained on Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven, and He overthrew those cities, and all the valley, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground. But his wife, from behind him, looked back, and she became a pillar of salt. Now Abraham arose early in the morning and went to the place where he had stood before the LORD; and he looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the valley, and he saw, and behold, the smoke of the land ascended like the smoke of a furnace. Thus it came about, when God destroyed the cities of the valley, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot lived." - Genesis 19

So as history proves, science and archeologists testify, entire towns and communities were laid waste - especially those towns in which the most grievous acts against nature and God were committed. A sin against nature isn't killing a United States Federal Government listed threatened and endangered species under the Endangered Species Act. No, the sin of Sodom is where we get our word today for sodomy. So as we can see, there is real danger in a California judge overturning the will of voters in this state. In fact, Americans know that a grievous act against nature (against basic ABC's and 123's of biology - again not talking here about the federally listed vascular, nonvascular special status plant species placed on a list by a bureaucrats - but rather, namely about homosexual acts) is a shaking of the fist at the heavens and taunting God for punishment. Or at least just wrong. This is why all 30 states that put the question to a ballot unanimously voted for NATURAL MARRIAGE and NOT same sex marriage.

A media reporting about 'unprecedented' increased volcanic activity, temperature drops and rises, earthquakes, flooding, etc. should hold their tongue before blaming SUV's and before campaigning for their favorite environmentalist dictator politician, take a short look back to history and see how and where similar events occurred that wiped out entire towns. Were the devastating St. Stephen's Day tsunami in 2005 killing 200,000 men, women, and children an occurrence that is normal everyday events? This after all, happened in the hub of the slave sex center of the globe and the platform for major radical Islamic persecutions against Sri Lankan Christians. But we can easily gloss over that and report instead on American Idol candidates and the pointless and wheel spinning Lost episodes. By the way, did they name the show Lost to describe what they would do to the audience? The media will push homosexuality down our throats and peddle shows to keep us in the darkness of error and away from the finding truth and God's heavenly desire for mankind.

Hyundai: 'Roman Catholics Need Not Apply'

This is essentially the message the carmaker Hyundai wants to deliver to Catholics - 'don't buy our cars'. And rightly so, after Our Lord advised all Christians to refrain from giving our wealth to those who would use it to trample you under your feet when He said:

"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces."

I refuse to even post the commercial, the ad is so insulting. To get an idea of how low Hyundai has drug themselves to, an article by Gregg Burke recalls the ad in detail:

The ad begins with singing in Latin, and depicts an Argentine “church” – complete with a stained-glass window of a soccer ball -- in which the wildly popular sport is clearly what’s being worshipped.

Hyundai then insults our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament . . .

by showing “worshippers” on their knees receiving slices of pizza rather than the communion host.

England Resurrects its Institutionalized Anti-Catholic Hysteria of the 1670's

Reminiscent of a die hard prejudice during the persecution of the Catholic Church in England during the 1670's, a Time/CNN article reports on Saturday that "a British Foreign Office memo" contained childish taunts and insults directed at Pope Benedict XVI. The juvenile wording included statements that suggested the Pope should "launch a line of Papal-branded condoms, bless gay marriages and encourage healthy living by doing somersaults with children." The Act of Supremacy of 1535 enacted by Henry VIII institutionalized anti-Catholicism and apparently a "Supremacy" attitude over Catholicism lives on.

Catholic Haters Banging the War Drums for a Return of the Great Persecution

"Catholic Haters of the world unite and take over."

This is the unspoken mantra of the secularists who are marching in lockstep with each other to persecute any Catholic with principle. Now the hate mongers think by attacking the Pope himself, they are going for the jugular and bringing the 'whole thing down'. According to an AP Report, the Vatican is not afraid to point this out:

"By now, it's a cultural contrast," Sodano told the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano. "The pope embodies moral truths that aren't accepted, and so, the shortcomings and errors of priests are used as weapons against the church."

"Behind the unjust attacks on the pope are visions of the family and of life that run contrary to the Gospel," Sodano said. "Now the accusation of pedophile is being brandished against the church."

He noted that past popes have also been criticized, including the "offensive against Pius XII for his conduct during the last World War as well as that against Paul VI" for his encyclical against birth control, the cardinal said.

"There are those who fear the media campaign of anti-Catholic hatred can degenerate," Vatican Radio said.

It noted anti-Catholic graffiti on walls of a church outside Viterbo, a town near Rome, and reminded listeners that a bishop was attacked by a man during Easter Mass in Muenster, Germany. The bishop fought back with an incense bowl.

The radio likened the recent campaign to the persecution suffered by early Christian martyrs. "The crowds, incited by the slanders of the powerful, would lynch the Christians," the radio said.

So now the secularists, frothing at the mouth, are looking to tear down the walls that they believe keep their 'artistry' hemmed in. Dismantling the traditional family, imposing their degenerate lifestyle onto those who would rather love God, campaigning for unethical medical practices, making abortion a sacrament, establishing a new selfish-man centered religion without a Supreme Being, making man the source of all truth, criticizing anybody who loves God more than selfishness, etc. are just a few examples of the utopia liberals are trying to impose on the world. What they hope to dismantle, they hope to replace with something new and, secularists believe, something better. Something without God and something without conscience where the only laws that exist are selfishness, self indulgence, the suppression of any ideas of morality, and imposing heavy penalties - even the death penalty on anyone who believes in the One True God and His Teachings and dares to defend the Creator.

Global Warming is More Faith than Fact

According to Al Gore, Global Warming is a 'moral issue'. Thousands if not millions of people may agree with this. However, what value system do the global warmers' weigh their definitions of moral/immoral against? What is the standard for moral? When do we know that the global warmers are satisfied? The truth is, nobody knows. Global warming is just another denomination of the environmentalist religion, but, like environmentalism, there is no endgame. No heavenly reward in the end, no end zone to spike the football in, no super bowl trophy to break out the champagne glasses around, no victory to claim except . . . what?

There is no tangible end game because the movement itself is the endgame. The movement itself is an atheistic idolatry, the ultimate geocentrist view that man, not God is the center of the universe. The geocentrist view that man can actually direct the climate and control only what God, the Creator of the Universe, can. Evil wins every time that God is scorned and with global warming, offending God is the endgame. Blaspheming the Almighty each and every day that environmentalism is practiced, and each and every time somebody new joins the environmentalist ranks defines this religion. They are marching with nowhere to go, just as long as they've drug as many souls with them as they possibly could by whatever means necessary, even creating crises to scare people that Armageddon is coming.

According to Al Gore et al., the false gods of environmentalism are angry and they're coming for us. Not enough humans have been sacrificed to appease their gods. Not enough blasphemy has been committed to satisfy the gods. Still too many God fearing souls exist that must be turned into atheists to satiate the thirst of the environmentalist god.

To environmentalism atheism is a prerequisite. This is because it places complete and total control into the hands of man and none in a Higher Being. Environmentalism is the ultimate geocentrist view that man, not God is the center of the universe. That man can actually direct the climate. Today we are told by Al Gore, the high priest of the god of environmentalism that the gods are angry. Atheism is a prerequisite to this religion therefore, only more atheism can appease the gods.

Today we learned that the gig is up. More and more prominent leaders are pointing out the absurdity of this false god with the most recent being the Czech President. According to an article, Czech President Vaclav Klaus stated:

"I'm convinced that after years of studying the phenomenon, global warming is not the real issue of temperature. That is the issue of a new ideology or a new religion. A religion of climate change or a religion of global warming. This is a religion which tells us that the people are responsible for the current, very small increase in temperatures. And they should be punished."

"We'll be the victims of irrational ideology. They will try to dictate to us how to live, what to do, how to behave. What to eat, travel, and what my children should have. This is something that we who lived in the communist era for most of our lives — we still feel very strongly about. We are very sensitive in this respect. And we feel various similarities in their way of arguing or not arguing. In the way of pushing ahead ideas regardless of rational counter-arguments."

Klaus thinks that the world's "silent majority" would agree with his position on global warming. "I'm so sorry that Al Gore and others around the IPCC succeeded in influencing so many people," he said.

"We need to bring new arguments. The real problem isn't the arguments. The real problem is to motivate people to listen to other arguments against this. This is the missing link in the current debate."

Klaus says that he is in favor of "green" technology, but cautions that he is not in favor of the government dictating the development of the technology.

"I lived in a communist world where politicians told us what to do," Klaus said. "I don't think politicians or presidents should suggest to firms what to do. That has always been a mistake."

Population Control: Is This the Whole Point of Obama's Government Health Plan?

According to a 12/10/09 article on page 10 of the China Daily, a delegate from the Chinese communist government told the UN in Copenhagen that "Dealing with climate change is not simply an issue of CO2 emission reduction but a comprehensive challenge involving political, economic, social, cultural and ecological issues, and the population concern fits right into the picture."

She continued to brag about communist China's ruthlessly unjust one-child per family policy by exclaiming, "as a result of the family planning policy, China has seen 400 million fewer births, which has resulted in 18 million fewer tons of CO2 emissions a year".

Obama must have been rubbing his hands together in glee when he heard these words. After all, our marxist President appointed the most radically liberal environmentalist at the post of "Science Czar". John Holdren was appointed to Obama's cabinet under a sophisticated title to mask their radicalness: Director of the White House's Office of Science and Technology Policy.

If we can remember back when Holdren was first exposed, we read the stories, but couldn't imagine what crisis would be created that would give Holdren the green light to implement his radical policies. The UN globalists have just provided Obama and John Holdren the green light they've been looking for.

If you forgot how serious our freedoms have suddenly become threatened, here are some of what John Holdren along with two other authors in the 1,000 page textbook, Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment (1977) dreamed up as the answer to our search for happiness:

To underscore they mean business, they conclude, "If some individuals contribute to general social deterioration by overproducing children, and if the need is compelling, they can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility" (pp. 837-838). Moreover, if the United States government refuses to take proper measures, they authorize the United Nations to take compelling force."

Our Science Czar viewed life as cheap and 'manageable' with cold blooded murder to control the world's population:

"All the children who are born, beyond what would be required to keep up the population to a desired level, must necessarily perish, unless room be made for them by the death of grown persons...if we dread the too frequent visitation of the horrid form of famine, we should sedulously encourage the other forms of destruction, which we compel nature to use...and court the return of the plague."

FrontPage likened this, rightly so, to the sacrifice of humans to the environment god. The report quoted the textbook's pages 837-838 where it read:

"If some individuals contribute to general social deterioration by overproducing children, and if the need is compelling, they can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility".

John Holdren advocated a 'Planetary Regime' as part of a One World Government:

"The Planetary Regime might be given responsibility for determining the optimum population for the world and for each region and for arbitrating various countries' shares within their regional limits...the Regime would have some power to enforce the agreed limits." (p. 943)

"Security might be provided by an armed international organization, a global analogue of a police force...The first step necessarily involves partial surrender of sovereignty to an international organization." (p. 917)

Like Emperor Nero, who falsely blamed the great Fire of Rome on the Christian population, Obama's Czar takes his own shot at Christians, already assigning preemptive blame to Christians for any global environmental damage:

"The Christian concept of life in this world, as voiced by Saint Paul, that 'here we have no abiding city,' for example, conceivably could help explain why some people show rather little concern for the long-term future of the global environment or for the well-being of future generations" (p. 807).

The only way Obama can force population control onto America is if he gets his Government run health plan passed while citing global disaster crisis as his justification. But standing in his way are people who still believe in family values and the rights of the family.

What a perfect scenario: cite imperfections in America's health care industry to justify a complete government takeover of it to, like China, take control of the family. It's happening now in China, it can easily happen here.

The Agents of Anti-Catholicism

Undoubtedly, anti-Catholicism is the last acceptable prejudice. A book under the same title goes into greater detail (click here to view book details). In October 2009 alone, Archbishop Timothy Dolan of New York points out in an article that the New York times, in a mere span of 17 days poured layer upon layer of their prejudice against Catholicism with publication of stories bent on painting Catholicism in a bad light. Where media outlets acquire such behavior is baffling. Perhaps they've caught it from their institutional leanings early in their University level indoctrinations; or perhaps from individual reporters selling themselves out to an ideology that must disfavor Catholicism to advance their careers. Regardless of the origins, anti-Catholicism is not only transparently bias, but increasingly tiresome. It seems that some people satisfy their personal odds-with-life by setting their sights on a scapegoat that they believe will just take it lying down - in today's world it is the Catholic Church.

Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake (Matt 5:11)
